From Vietnam to Kazakhstan — freshness guaranteed, even during China’s national holidays.
On August 26, we shipped a temperature-sensitive cargo from Vietnam. The sea journey lasted just over a week — on September 3, the container arrived at Shekou port (China). That’s when the main challenge appeared: national holidays and the risk of indefinite delays.
To avoid any risks, we had built a clear plan in advance, including 5 days of cold storage:
- controlled temperature at a warehouse in China,
- transfer from container to reefer truck for the overland journey,
- at the Alashankou border — reloading into a new reefer truck to comply with customs and maintain temperature integrity,
- monitoring at every stage — from Vietnam to Kazakhstan.
In this case, we had an extra advantage — our own offices in Vietnam and Kazakhstan. That allowed us to ensure direct control without intermediaries and gave the client even more confidence.
And in other countries, we work through a trusted agent network, so the level of control and transparency always remains consistently high.
On September 18, the cargo arrived in Karaganda.
Total transit time: 24 days (sea + storage + border + road).
Result:
- Temperature integrity fully maintained
- No disruptions despite holidays
- Smooth and on-time delivery
Logistics isn’t always about speed. The key is anticipating risks and taking the stress off the client. We delivered as if the holidays in China never happened.
This case was shared by Mai Anh Tuan from our office in Hanoi, Vietnam.
